KALLAX is a non-combat companion built to handle the player's loot and keep nearby spaces organized.
KALLAX is brought to life during Under Construction and gains additional abilities during the remaining quests.
KALLAX uses Skyrim's pet system and does not occupy the normal follower slot. The player can travel with both KALLAX and a standard follower at the same time.
Speaking to KALLAX opens follower dialogue options that allow the player to:
KALLAX does not attack enemies. Asking for help in battle instead grants the player a Carry Weight bonus.
KALLAX begins with 300 carry weight. The first upgrade, received during Reorganizing, adds 200 carry weight for a total capacity of 500.
After completing Tidying Up, KALLAX's final perk state sets carry weight to 100,000,000.
The final perk sets KALLAX's carry weight to 100,000,000. Skyrim stores this value as a 32-bit float. At 16,777,216, the value reaches the point beyond which every consecutive whole number can no longer be represented exactly. Higher values remain possible, but use increasingly larger increments. In normal play, this functions as effectively unlimited storage.
Certain items given to KALLAX appear visibly on its shelves. Each compartment has a dedicated place for specific classes of items, allowing KALLAX to visibly organize part of the player's inventory.
KALLAX gains a tidying ability during Reorganizing.
A dialogue option allows the player to ask KALLAX to tidy the current area. KALLAX restores displaced physics objects to their original positions, making the ability useful in player homes and other spaces where loose clutter has been knocked around.
This ability is also used at specific points in the questline to clear blocked passages and reveal hidden objects.
After a final upgrade, ask KALLAX to loot items and he'll automatically search for loose items when he's idling around the player. KALLAX wanders toward nearby loot and collects it.
The Summon KALLAX Shout can be learned from the Word Wall near the exit of Storereach after KALLAX clears away the junk covering it.

All three words must be used. The Shout teleports KALLAX directly to the player from anywhere, making it useful if it was left at a player home or separated during exploration.
