¶ Overview
There are several new special items players will find on destroyed Ships, enemy troops, and in chests on Watchtower property that are used to progress and unlock various elements of the Creation.
¶ Watchtower Intel
These items are generally found in the wreckage of Watchtower Ships and Arrays, but can also be found on Watchtower leaders at their bases and on Ships, and even in containers on their bases.
They can be turned into Harper to find locations of additional Watchtower bases.
¶ Watchtower Components
These can be found on the wreckage of many Watchtower Ships and Arrays, and in containers in Watchtower bases.
Their primary functions are as one of the recipe components for crafting new Skydrop Flares and the cost to restock Skydrops.
Watchtower Components contain illegal technology and so are considered Contraband!
After using his services enough times, Gren will eventually discover how to manufacture these, unlocking recipes the player can use at an Industrial Workbench, as well as a Manufacturing machine the player can build in Outposts.
¶ Industrial Workbench Recipe
The cost to manufacture Watchtower Components is:
- 2 Antimony
- 1 Superconductor
- 1 Semimetal Wafer
- 4 Caelumite
¶ Outpost Fabricator
The Watchtower Fabricator is a tier 3 manufacturing machine that requires 12 power to operate. It requires the level 3 Manufacturing research project to be complete.
The machine can be built for:
- 8 Titanium
- 3 Positron Battery
- 8 Polymer
- 6 Lubricant
The production cost for assembling Watchtower Components is the same as the cost to build them at the Industrial Workbench.
¶ Computer Cores
The rarest of these special items, Computer Cores can be found on Arrays and powerful Watchtower Ships, with a rare chance of finding them in chests on Watchtower bases.
These are the primary cost for unlocking new Skydrops and Cyberamps.
