This is continued from the Deep Labs section of Fever Dreams.
After making it past some Tesla Arc traps, the player enters a room with several FEV tanks. A trio of them in the corner hold Deathclaws submerged in liquid; another across and to the right from those is shattered.
On the far end is a door that is sealed, and large amounts of blood litter the area. As the player ventures further in, they will comment on the blood and the Deathclaws. One of the Deathclaws will speak, and the player will receive an optional objective to investigate the tanks.
If the player speaks to the Deathclaw, it will tell them they are too fleshy and hint their keepers used to wear metal. If the player returns to the Deathclaw in Power Armor, it will offer hints as to how to proceed through the room.
The path forward is blocked by a sealed door which the player will need to discover how to open.
The goal is for the player to break through the sandbag walls to find an elevator, go to the upper level and then jump down to crash through the weakened floor below to gain access to a small security area underneath. In that under-area will be the necessary terminal to lift the lab’s lockdown so they can proceed.
Optionally, the player can break through the floor with explosives, which will be hinted at by the talking Deathclaw if the player returns to him after finding the weak floor.
To make this all easier, there is a fusion core the player can find by jumping across some pipes to reach a hole in a wall where a fusion generator stands. An additional fusion core can be found in the optional pressure plate side room within this lab, which requires wearing Power Armor to solve - more information on this can be found below.
After lifting the lab lockdown, the sealed door near the blood will be open and as they pass close to it, the Deathclaw will say goodbye. This new path leads them to the Operating Theatre.
There is an optional sub-puzzle involving pressure plates.
On the right-side of the room as the player entered, there are two pressure plates with a door in front of each, both leading to the same room.
Standing on one opens the opposite door, and stepping off of the pressure plate causes the door to shut very shortly after - fast enough that the player could only make it if they were on the opposite plate. This will hint to the player they are meant to have a buddy on the other plate so that they open each other's doors and both can enter.
The goal of this puzzle is for the player to exit the power armor on one pressure plate, and then stand on the other.
Inside this room they will find a jetpack attachment and a terminal explaining the safe-room they are in and an override option to force both doors open so they can leave it again.
They can attach this to the power armor to reach additional upper areas where they can find T-60 parts for the power armor to replace the weaker T-45 parts it starts with. Additionally, the player will find another fusion core in this room.
Additional T-60 parts can be found in the following locations within the Deathclaw Testing Labs:
Helmet: At the very top of the elevator shaft is another room. Players must use the hatch on top of the elevator to access the shaft to boost to the top.
Torso and Left Leg: At the top of the Deathclaw Labs are some destroyed hallways with a pinkish red light spilling out of them. The torso can be looted off a skeleton, and the left arm can be found sitting on a bench across from a water fountain.
Right Arm: Follow the staircase up until you reach the room with two windows overlooking the lab. In one corner is a machine that emits radiation, behind a security gate and sandbags. The player can smash through the sandbags using Power Armor to collect the right arm.
Left Arm: When standing at the exit door leading to the final boss fight room, look directly up. A hole in the ceiling will lead you to a small hallway, where the left arm is resting on a desk.
Right Leg: Can be found in the room with the stacked cages. The right leg can be found in the same cage that has the light source.
