This feature is the 2nd service unlocked during the questline.
Every 24 hours, the East Empire Merchants will “sell” a portion of the player’s items, and deposit a cut of the sales into the “Strong Box (Your Cut)” container at the Outpost. The EEC Ledger will be updated to show the total items sold, gold made by the EEC, and the total running cut the player has received to date from this Outpost selling their items.
The vendor should be selling approximately 10% of the items the player has available for sale each day (+5% additional for each level beyond 1 the outpost is at - meaning at max level, they should be selling 25% of the items each day), and should be giving them 30% of the value of those items.
Speaking to one of the East Empire Merchants found at the Outposts should result in several dialogue options:
This should bring up a traditional vendor barter. The vendor should have a variety of miscellaneous items, the most important being the East Empire Relics - which are used for the Item Delivery Services. These vendors are the only source to gain additional relics.
In addition to miscellaneous items and East Empire Relics, the vendor will also sell anything the player sent or handed them to sell.
Each Outpost’s vendor has their own separate barter container, and will not show items the player has placed for sale at the other Outposts.
This option will unlock after the player finishes the quest “East Empire Services” and speaks to Sha’khar again who will offer and explain the service.
This should bring up a trade window with nothing in the recipient’s inventory. The player may place anything here, then upon exiting the window, the items will be transferred to the vendor.
Note: There is no way for the player to retrieve the items once offering them to sell, other than buying them back.
This option will only appear if the Dungeon Mining is unlocked (which occurs after three or more East Empire camps are established). This will cause items produced from the Location Claiming system to be put directly for sale on behalf of the player as if the player had used the “I have some items to put up for sale” option and deposited them themselves.
Note: This option toggles with the next (ie. when one is showing, the other will not).
This option will only appear if the Dungeon Mining is unlocked (which occurs after three or more East Empire camps are established). This will cause items produced from the Location Claiming system to be put in the East Empire Delivery container at that outpost for the player to pick up at their leisure.
Note: This option toggles with the previous (ie. when one is showing, the other will not).
